Sounds easy enough, which means it'll probably be really tough!

I'm off out tomorrow to see if I can grab an interesting letter shot. I'll go out on an expedition every day to find something if I have to and if nothing presents itself, I'll find a garden worm and curl him into the shape of an S at the last minute :)

hahaha... ummm it does say "accidental"... how are you going to "accidentally" curve a worm into an "s"???/ eh??? hahaha

I predict a lot of O, I, and S in this one. And maybe V and U.

yea.. see... a trickier number would be cooler... BUT the simple numbers can look the most appealing and get a higher vote...

A bit more than a year ago, there were interesting images submitted on the "alphabet" topic, although not specifically limited to "something which has the shape of a letter but wasn't intended to be one".

Side Challenge, August 2007, ABCDEFG...

Hey mate, you beat me to the post, as I was just going to add this to this thread. We had a great time doing that ABC side challenge.

Hmmm good point haha.....maybe I'll capture a worm and wait patiently til he curls into an S of his own accord. It could happen!

Good luck to Irene on this one. I'd like to see how she can accidentally create a letter from a water drop!(or "accidentally" create any letter on her kitchen table for that matter) :-p If she does manage it, I'll pick up her next renewal fee. lol

I have a shot I'd like to enter but I'm having doubts if it can be interpreted as DNMC for not being "accidental". Would it be against the rules to ask for someone's opinion? I mean, someone who isn't willing to play this challenge...

I'll take a look if you like. I may enter and/or vote on this one, but I wouldn't vote on yours if I've seen it first.

Yes, please! I'm posting it somewhere and sending you the link.

Sounds good!

My shot is so crappy, I think I'll get one or two of those 'going for the brown?' comments. I'm well aware of how naff it is but I'm gonna enter it anyways as I simply want to share something that made me smile.

And no, it's not an S worm. :)

I actually really like my entry, which automatically dooms it to low 5's!

I can't hope to be much above 4, if that. I'm so tempted to pull out at the last minute but I wouldn't want to get the challenge pregnant.

Count me in too! With a shot that I could do the best today, my wife spent 2 minutes looking for any recognizable letter. I am gonna enter it anyways.. for fun.. so people get to use left side of the scale too when rating:-)

I always say it's better to enter if you have a shot, than not to bother at all!

If it's accidental and looks like a letter, you'll be fine! Or is it one of those where it is accidental but looks like it could've been staged?

Remember to include the âNo Animals/ Insects/ Worms etc Were Harmedâ disclaimer. :)

I really hope people realize that English is not the only language. Just because it looks like a scribble, doesn't mean it's not an example of beautiful swahili script.

Hehe don't worry, I wasn't forced to resort to the worm idea, though if I had it might've done better than my entry is gonna do!
