oh, sorry... the sad face was from another thread... we had a discussion about posting your score and how posting it can actually make it drop (just by coincidence...) so the sad face is there because if i post it, it will drop, then I will be sad... i'm actually happy because it has been steadily increasing over the last couple days... |

| I'm suffering from "last day syndrome" or something. Have dropped from 5.48 to 5.44 just in the last couple of hours. This happened last member challenge I was in too. People are so *grumpy* on Sundays. |

I'm in the boat with you, I had accepted I would remain stuck on 5.5 until rollover but in the last 2 hours, I dropped down to 5.2 and it's still dropping. I'm just hoping the grumpy people bugger off and I don't slip down into the 4s, which may well happen now that I've posted my score.... *Gulp*

Glowing comments and faves aren't always an indication. Also, 6.25 is a fantastic score. From what I've seen around here, anything over 6+ means you're doing very well. |

Yeah if you think about it, people rarely get an average of 9 or 10, so if you look at it as though your score is out of 8, over 6 is a damn good score. Personally, I consider it a good score if it's over 5.30.

For me, anything over a 5. I haven't been ... blessed... with a score under 5 yet, and I mean to keep it that way. I promised myself before ever joining here that I wouldn't enter a challenge just to be in one, and so far that's a promise I've been able to keep.
Sadly, with the current challenges up, I'm not feeling any of them, so I'm going to be update-less until at least next Sunday night. |

For me, anything over a 5. I haven't been ... blessed... with a score under 5 yet, and I mean to keep it that way. I promised myself before ever joining here that I wouldn't enter a challenge just to be in one, and so far that's a promise I've been able to keep.

I've had a coupla 4 scores in my very early entries and it seems I'm gonna have another after the long exposure results are in. I won't be able to avoid the update button, think I'm a wee bit addicted!

Yeah if you think about it, people rarely get an average of 9 or 10, so if you look at it as though your score is out of 8, over 6 is a damn good score. Personally, I consider it a good score if it's over 5.30. |
And for me, it's not a good score until it's over at least at 6.3! It has a lot to do with personal goals and expectations. |

I think you have been around here long enough to know that a score over 6 is actually very good. If you look at the low numbers of votes and the relatively low scores posted, my guess the voters are not really interested in this challenge. I would not be surprised if your score cracks to the top ten...

I completely agree, nobody seems very bothered by this challenge. I'm wondering if it's cos the mathematics challenge was such a short while ago and numbers seems to much alike.

Yeah, but Doors was reasonably low scoring (6.35 top 10). With a kind scrub of some low scores, and she could easily be looking above 6.3 |
