So I've seen some interesting tutorials he's done on photography, and I like his photography. One thing that caught my attention was a quicky on how he makes his own albums from scratch. He has a download on a step-by-step on how to do what he does called Combo Bookmaking which seems very interesting. Has anybody bought this? Or does anyone have a better alternative? I like having control over my stuff, and it would be great to learn how to make an album...just wondering if this is the way to go.

I make all of my albums from "scratch". I use a combination of PS, FotoFusion and on occasion some PS templates I downloaded for free. Once you create one, you'll see how simple they are to put together. The hard part is getting the artistic / graphic layout that is unique to each album so they don't look "cookie cutter".

I'm talking about a 'hold in your hands' album.

Ah... turn the lame music off...
I like their style though. |

What she described is how I create albums as well .... yes ... the kind you hold in your hands.

Yes, I create the design, then send the design to a printer for printing. Never created the actual book by hand. Seems a bit non-profitable.
