Please help, I have a Canon 40D and the files output to CR2 raw files. In order for photoshop CS2 to read them I have converted them to Adobe DNG and after alterations in photoshop have saved them in TIFF.
I have burned 155 photos to 2 dvd's and took them to kodak shop for prossessing. They said the machine will not open the files. His computer will but the machine will not.
My question is what is the best way to convert TIFF to JPG in one batch process. |

If you have Photoshop, you can batch them or create an action to re-save in the new format. You can also do it with IrfanView (free Windows editor).
Almost all photo print outlets and stock sites want JPEG images -- be sure to save at the best-possible quality setting. |

Please help! Needing to convert many of my RAW photos to jpeg or tiff, but can't seem to find a good converter. I just got the Canon 40D for Christmas, so I am a newbie and a but overwhelmed. I do not yet have Photoshop, may have to invest, but can't right now. I have Irfanview to edit thus far, but really need to convert to tiff or jpeg. Thanks! |

Roopq - have you tried Picasa? That's a free software provided by Google that will let you convert your RAW to JPG. |

Thanks! I have not yet tried that. I did finally find STEPOK, have you used this? I think they converted, but still to be determined. |

Tried the software that came with the camera? Works pretty well. |
