0.57 according to the original formula.

Now two of you will remember me.

*scratching head* So is that good? Or bad?

I don't know. I just did the maths for them and now they'll remember that dude who can't get the numbers right.

I HOPE nobody knows me, what with all the trouble the Witness Protection Program went through...

I'm not famous at all. Not in real life, not in DPC life. I'm just a nobody

Oh, I don't know... I was buying a box at one of those pack and ship places and glanced at the rack of cards - lo and behold, there were two pugs in a compromising position on one of those cards and I immediately knew who took that shot. I'd have to say that counts as some degree of famous. :-)

ok - well maybe just a fleeting moment of fame. I really hate that they cropped the rose petals out and put underwear on my pugs for the card

interesting, i haven't read the whole thread (getting used to full time work again...), but this links to something i've been experiencing outside of DPC this past week. hanging with the parents outside school (sprog's in primary this year), i've been running into people from as far back as 30 years. specifically, a man who asked me if i was me, and went to his school in grade 3 (1978). i did, for half of grade three, that was the last time we met. i guess i made an impact, but i certainly didn't think i did.

must go get ready for work/school.

I would never have guessed I'd get a mention in this thread! =) Thanks Neil.

Recognizing folks is exactly why I created the extension in the first place. That and my insatiable desire to tinker / meddle.

Now I wonder if it still works... =D ETA: Hooray it does!

Are you on Firefox 3? Its one of the reasons I haven't upgraded was to keep the profile photos and slideshow. :)

Of course, there are always people like me. No, that isn't me in my profile shot.

If you believe one of these famous DPCers deserves an award for his/her contributions, please consider nominating him/her here with a reference thread supporting their contributions.

Don't "intend" to be famous at all. Y'all would have to tell me if I'm famous or not. I know I've P.O.d a few, and hopefully blessed a few...and hopefully some have enjoyed a few of my shots. Otherwise, anonymity is pretty much O.K. by me.

Yes, FireFox 3.0.1, GreaseMonkey 0.8.20080609.0... I haven't tried the slideshow yet... ETA: works, too!

As for the topic, I have to say that lots of users are recognizable to me for different reasons:

eyewave and hotpasta make very helpful comments and tend to take photos that I admire.

Leroy was at times outlandish, but he had lots of good info on hardware.

Judi, DrAchoo, IreneM, timfythetoo, etc - are on the front page all the blasted time. =D But very nice folks in the forums, too.

And of course, there's my DPL team, with whom it was great to share, review and learn:

Slideshow and profile pics both work with FF3. :)

I can confidently say that I am only known by my previous ability to piss people off... especially the SC! I have however mended my evil ways and have just stayed in the Team Suck thread for the most part, where people may know me a little bit, mostly for whinning about my scores and also for my ability to make sentences run on for an almost unbearable length of time. Oh, and I am also known to Dirt_Diver for ticking him off more recently. :)

I am secure in my obscurity.

P.S. Go Beavers!

ok thought i would ressurect this thread by asking:

if you left for, say, 3 months, would anyone make a thread entitled "where is [your name here]?"
