Well...tomorrow is Fathers Day. I haven't got around to getting anything for my husband as yet!!! Oops. He told me what he wanted....so I told him to go and get it, so he gets the right thing.....oh well. At least he is out on the town as I type this...kicking his heels up, so he can't read this...thank goodness.
But anyways...tomorrow is Fathers Day and I will be out working for half the day...so he will have fun with three kids and a hangover...double oops! Maybe I will pick something up for him on the way home.....hey Brat...can you remind me puh-lease!!! LOL!
So what are you men up to....or......what have you girls got planned for your men?

As much of a sleep as as the 5 kids will allow me, followed by breakfast while watching Insiders on ABC1. Then off to church and then probably lunch with my parents and sisters. Nothing out of the ordinary, really, but it'll be nice to spend time with the kids and the folks... nice to still have my father around for this fathers day after a serious scare a few months back... so, will make the most of the day I guess.

Tomorrow is my husband Pete's first Father's Day. He's getting a computer game from me (which he knows about) and a special secret gift from Jenna (which he's not expecting). We're just going to spend the day together, then church tomorrow night as usual.
Hope you all have a great one!

Over in the UK Father's Day is in June - so it's long gone.
However in the interests of international goodwill, I am happy to have a few more each year :- ) |

In the US it is in June as well, but maybe I'll adopt Australian nationality for the weekend and see where that gets me. |

Got Rob a new electric shaver and some aftershave from the kids. Made him brekkie too. Had a BBQ lunch and a nice relaxing afternoon :) |

I thought Father's Day was always three months after Mother's Day, which is why there are so many babies born around Mother's Day... ;-Þ

Our day did not turn out as planned, no special breaky/brunch, as I had to spend the day at home. Peter did feel special, as he opened his gifts from his two sons and two grandsons, and also enjoyed their phone calls and web cam. I always give somethings special to Peter every year since we have been married. This year gave him a collection of his favorite movie DVD's.
I will still take him out for a special meal, but I could not today, but will do so one day soon. He is a very special man, and I am so very lucky as he is my husband, soul mate, and best friend.

Jusi, you freaked me out too. *grin* I can't remember what I got for Father's day back in June (if anything). Generally I'm on-call with the local ambulance company on Sundays and we don't do much. Today I'm sitting here doing schoolwork and putzing around waiting for someone to call 911 so I can go out and help them.
Hopefully you have a good father's day (even though you're not a father). |

"slap up dinky dye" - We use that saying quite a lot for our 'Aussie' BBQ's, as it means anything and everything, on the BBQ, and also on the plate.
