I put this link up in another thread today, but thought I would share it again for anyone that hasn't seen it.
It is a guide so you can work out exactly how old a Canon lens is - this can be particularly useful on ebay where they all claim to be virtually new, and sometimes you can get the info just from the display photo's :- )

The best way to age a lens is probably to take sandpaper to it.

I aged my OM lenses for 25 years before buying a digital camera. :)

Well, placing in a cool cellar for a few years tends to work well for a lot of things. ;-)
