How / Why did I lose a comment received?

I just noticed that I somehow lost a comment! Since I started being active again I had a gap of 3 comments between Received and Helpful (from me replying on my own images).
Now its down to two!!! I know I didn't delete any. I don't think you even can!?
Any ideas??

Maybe it's from an image you still have in voting? Did you mark it helpful?

If any of the comments I make haven't been marked helpful before the end of voting, I'll remove it and change my vote to 1. Fair warning.

Considering that he can't tell whether his comment has been marked helpful or not until the end of the challenge I don't think it really matters.

Nope, You can see all the comments you make durring voting and if they have been checked helpful or not....and it was a comment received not made.....NEXT! :-)

It's a comment made on an image in voting and the commenter had second thoughts about the comment and removed it before voting was over?

I didn't know you could do that!!!...But I had the gap of 3 for about 5 challenges now and now...1 is gone...is it possible that someone didn't like a comment I had received (even though I didn't mind it) and reported it for removal!! maybe?? Is that something that SC would do?

Maybe but you can remove your own comments (ones that you make) during voting. Once voting is over they are stuck.

Interesting...
Before the Upgrade, I had a difference of "6" in the helpful vs other comments.
those were accounted for mostly because in my early days, I'd make comments replying to other comments.
After the Upgrade, the difference was "8".
Today, it's back to "6".

So maybe DD isn't alone in the COTMC. (case of the missing comments).
