Sure, why not. Although I was hit in the last half hour by a few really low votes. I'm getting the impression that people come home from work pissed right off. |

Well, I am still on the wrong side of 5.0. I am not going to bitch about my score (I knew there were issues, wish i could have reshot, but time and weather down here makes that hard) but still though, what the heck, i'll go with it and see.
However, I do note there are a lot of great images in the challenge, however, I also noted that many look the same, or are very similar. I was hoping for more photos that had purple things, instead of people Post Processing their standard photo into something Purple (Sorry, a head of shots that are different shades of purple doesn't interest me).
I congratulate those who managed to go a little different and run the risk. I always prefer to see something different, and different interpretations on the theme (so The Road Less Travelled i will find facinating)

Seriously though, you are always going to get this with such a challenge... those that tweak the colours on a standard photo, those that go literal and take a photo of something the theme colour and others that copy previous ribbon winners... there's no right or wrong, its art. :)

At this rate it will easily be my 2nd highest score, and has a small chance of being a PB. Since purple is the best color ever (can you tell it's my favorite?) I'm thrilled that this will end up on my profile page for a long time :-)

Can someone please tell me where these purple beaches are located, I want to book my next vacation there. Or the purple oceans, where are these Earthly mysteries located? :)
Not finished voting yet but I find I'm now voting in favor of the truly purple shots and voting the fake purples very low.

How can you tell the difference in some? When underexposed, beaches and sunsets/sunrises can be purple. But then, they also look, well .... underexposed. ;oP
