Some of you guys need to pick something further away :-)
Here is mine BUT BUT the variability is hopeless as is the evening when it's contested (cable shares the local area). The other issue is that they cheap with this "speedboost" crap, so tests like this are faster then smaller requests.

Not great but this is the max I get from my 8mb link. (I am about 26 miles away from Maidenhead)

sweet, I am  Beetle fast! Actually when we got our cable installed he said we had a good signal and had to turn it down. I thought he said that to all his customers, lol. :P |

I'm not confident in the numbers Comcast Cable puts up. My guess is it is something in the way they handle these requests. They advertise 6 Mb/s with a boost to 12 but they show as over 20 in these tests. I have a 7 Mb/s service and it reads right were it should at 6.5 or so most of the time.
so what gives with Comcast? |
