Very good.
Unfortunately the message that said my membership was due to run out on July 31st now says it's going to run out tonight, so my best of month free challenge, for which the world has patiently (and against medical advice) held its breath, will not be accepted.
No ribbons have been attached to my profile page after this upgrade.
I shall not be renewing my membership. |

Yeah, it's much faster now. Whew. I know my PC caches images when I browse the web, but I didn't know servers had to cache. |

I think I read that this might happen, but just in case.
When I bring up this thread, the last post showing is:  at 01:54:16 PM
But when I bring up post reply:  the last post is 02:07:16 PM. |

Everything is cached. For instance, I am caching ribbon winning ideas. (Ok, brown ribbons...Look out below!)

Banmorn, looks like either your browser is caching the older pages, or people are posting new posts between when you first hit the page and when you hit reply... :)

The only way I can get to see my own post and subsequent posts is to hit Post Reply - otherwise all I get is the same as I saw prior to my (now previous) post.
ETA: this one just showed though :-)

Well that's the problem right there. We are using a yellow NIC cord instead of a Gray one. Once we swap that out the server should speed right back up. |

I think there's a major problem with the site. My recent "Hot" image received only a 5.1. I'm quite sure that it should have been a 7.1, or at least a 6.1. Could you check in to that and get back to me when it's been corrected??

Now that I've taken a moment to cruise around the site, I've decided I do not like the new format at all. I find the navigation awkward and confusing, and the imagery sucks.
