Hmmmm...

Maybe I just have an untrained eye, but the f/45 version seemed to have better definition in the petals, but the stamine did not and wasn't quite as interesting as it was in the other images.

I like the focused ones better than the one with shallow DOF. I sound dorky, but of the three I think the original one you posted is "best". Sorry if you went to a lot of trouble for nothing.

The overall quality and the richness of color you are getting from the 10D is outstanding. Of course, it is not the camera but the photographer that makes all the difference in the world. The balanced lighting on the Christimas Cactus really works well.
