What do you think?
It's an out take from the shoot that produced:
I have a LOT of shots from before DPC or during my early weeks as a DPC addict that I need to go through and start to PS like I know what I'm doing ;-) so look for some more shots soon!
EDIT: LOL, guess I should put the thumb link to the shot I really wanted ya to see, huh?

I see the second picture as a print rather than the top one - I can't explain why really, its like its too busy or something. |

I personally like the top shot better than the bottom one. (Just as a picture, not in relation to the challenge.) Whether its "worthy" of being a print - I guess it would be a personal choice. I might consider it if it were mine. |

What you print and hang in your house is what YOU like! Not what we like.
Some technical comments: I think part of the problem is color: A shot like this to the sky looks better with a blue sky. The colors of the rock are very pinkish--I don't know if that is how it is, or an artifact of the exposure/camera.
The photo has a dramatic composition, but the rock itself, while having a nice texture, is not very dramatic, it's very square.
Again, it's what you (and your family) like that's important. The comments are just feedback for your continued shooting.

I was kind of aiming at whether or not people think it would sell on DPCPrints...
I might have to play with it a little more in Photoshop...I don't see a pinkish hue but then again, that is the region where my color blindness kicks in.
And as always, thank you for your comments and feed back!!!

I too see the pink hue in the top photo. I saw it before I read the post about it. I see it on the tree trunk though, in the areas meant to be white. That's an easy tint fix though...the greens are very nice, however.

I see the pink hue as well in the top photo. My opinion would be the second shot as a print over the first one. |
