Shez, didn't you know that ribbon winners are not allowed to leave? EVER? Silliness and imperfection is what TS is all about. |

Once again, I beg my fellow team mate to pick an entry for me.
I have three to choose from, one entered, and am afraid I've totally made the wrong choice.
Anyone care to take a gander at my choices ?
P.S. I start my new job tomorrow !!

Now getting a THANK YOU from the bottom of your heart, must have taken a long time to retrieve, because you have THE BIGGEST HEART of anyone on this site.
Lady Shez, you are an inspiration to me and I'm sure a lot of others on this site as well as in your community. If you were to quit Team Suck, we would truly SUCK for letting that happen.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE STAY.
Shez, I wish you all the best to you and yours and PLEASE do not forget what you wrote on you portfolio page:
Biography: I love DPC with a passion, and the friendships I have made are very special to me. I also love the photography and enjoy the challenges very much. I thank Drew and Langdon each and everyday, especially when I visit this amazing website. Thank you everyone.
My husband Peter, is my best friend, soul mate, and carer, and my life would be empty without him. Our eldest son Ryan is married to Lauren, and they had there first child, a son named Judd, on the 16-2-2007.
Our other son Blake, is very happy with his life with his partner Kerry, and they also had a son Landon, on the 30-3-2008. We are so happy to have two beautiful grandsons. Both of our sons live in Melbourne, and we are very proud of both our boys, and there family.
We are retired, and live in Caloundra, at the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia. We live in a village situation, and we planted a tropical garden out the back of our home. I spend most of my time taking photos of my favorite plants in our garden, my neighbours gardens, and also in our park.
Both my husband and I, were born with a disability, known as "dwarfism", or we refer to it as someone with "short stature". I am only 4 feet in height, or about a meter. I love life, but have many other physical, as well as health issues, to deal with.
I also have bone degenerative disease, similar to arthritis, and nerve damage to my spine. I also suffered a mini stroke at birth, and this is now causing sight, hearing, and nerve damage problems to my spine. I now have to use a walker to get around. I do not want sympathy, as I love life, and treat each and every day as the "best day of my life".
I was very proud to receive a "Yappy Award", presented to me, by "Team Suck" in 2006.
You all know I love DPC, and I would like to thank the following people, who have helped me this past year, and have become my special DPC friends.

Shez, I have to go with Raish and Snaffles: if you can't make silly mistakes and goof on judgement calls on Team Suck, where can you?
I mean, I just took a nice shot of a battleship and wrecked it with overprocessing. :)

IgH is, bizarrely, my favourite immunoglobulin. Immunoglobulins are molecules that wander around your bloodstream catching bacteria and such things, there's a bunch of different ones, and they're kinda interesting and variable. IgH is my favourite because it has 5 identical bits reaching outwards, making it sort of pretty and star-shaped :) |

There you go, Deb, it's an immunoglobulin thingy and star-shaped so it can't be that bad now, can it? And Elena, good to see you popping back in to say hi, been wondering where my favourite 6-foot tall femme fatale British photog had gone off to...:-)

I've got three woodies. Don't ask. I could use some help deciding which one to - erm - enter. As I'm not a member stoppit! I can't refer you to profile thingies, so I'd have to send them as attachments if you give me your email.

I'm in for Woody as well, but having produced only one picture, I didn't need help deciding. I'd be glad to help you decide, though, Peter, so email me at my yahoo address if you want, which I think you still have... Off to do some more cleaning, so I'll get back to check my email again within the half hour. |

I'm in for occupation. I'm still in the running in the above average side tourney, so I hope it beats 5.7!
Purple: thanks for the IgH explanation. I knew it sounded familiar, but couldn't place it. :)

Oddly, I thought IgH had some sort of meaning, but I was thinking chemical vice biological. Or perhaps it's the chemistry of biology? At any rate, very pleased the mystery is sorta solved! What remains is why my photographs - and different ones at that - are apparently good at capturing bacteria.... |

Thanks (and thanks to Deb, too!). :) You're not dumb - it was just changed today.
The funny thing is my score had dropped .25 in the two days before it ended, so I was just hoping for maybe top 10. I was stunned when I opened the home page Tuesday night and saw my shot in 2nd.
Then today I was going to show it to someone, and scanned down the second column. Since it wasn't there, I figured it had moved off the home page, but then realized it should still be there until Tuesday. That's how I found out it had moved up!
Anyway ... if you fine folks would like to see some of the fun we had in Vermont, check out my Groton collection.

Thank you all for your wonderful support, and as each day passes, I now realize I cannot live without 'TEAM SUCK' people in my life.....
I have just finished voting in the 'OCCUPATION' challenge, with this result below.
You have rated 98 of 98 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 39 images (40%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.3878.
Some amazing images in there, along with some amazing Occupations, and I really think it is one of the best challenges I seen for a long time. My average went though the roof in voting. Never been in the 6's before. One of my highest average scores, re voting, for some time.
By the way I am not in it.
All the best to everyone.
