Did David do all lines in the verse? NOTE: I changed line 17d from "where Wally's at" to "where Waldo's at" recently. |
Yes...he sung the whole verse and the Waldo bit. |
Awesome! ...um, was he on key? :P |

Hey Judi, I can't sing unless I'm drinking tequila but I'll give it a try! So how do I go about recording my voice and sending it to you? Do I just pick any line? |

No...you need to nominate a line in this thread and Art will put your name next to it so no one else can do that line...once that is done...record into your microphone (you should have some form of recording programme on your computer...Start/All Programmes/Accessories/Entertainment) and save it as a wav or MP3, depending on the programme you use....and then email it to me. Please keep emails under 10mb....this should not be a problem though.

Ok...It's kind of early for tequila right now but I'll give it a try later. :P |

Just pick a whole verse. I realize this might require more tequila, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. :) |

Re the singing: it would help to have the background track that was promised.... otherwise you'll get so many different keys!
Re the starting video: I have a camcorder and I have Pinnacle Studio to edit it.
I would really like to see Ken plus any number of others in that scene - snapping pics, chimping, hanging over the edge of a cliff to get THAT shot, etc.

Yeah it is going to be done this weekend. I mentioned the "Being on key" issue in the last thread and it was noted that that was not a problem for anyone so on key on schmee! :-P

key schmee is right. Did you hear Bear Grylls on that one Discovery channel version? And that Josh the Explorer guy didn't even try to sing it. So for anyone out there who is concerned about how they might sound, fuhget about it! Just sign up and read the lines if you prefer.

Thanks Karin - I don't know if we will be able to make that happen. What we can do is use the static images initially and if anyone can eventually produce the intro video, I'll recompile the final production with it. |

While we were in England at the GTG...Damion took lots of video...he may have some of DPC'ers snapping away...if that will help.

Actually I want the voices so I can do the tracking. The music will be done this weekend and it would be easier for me to add the voice track over the music and goof with tempo as I fear I may need to do some "Tweaking". |

Come on peoples....we need lines recorded. If you feel like recording a few extra to fill in the gaps then do it.

I'm just waiting to hear from Art about doing verse 8. |

OK I got the tracks working. I am struggling a little with the drum track but I think that is because I am being too ambitious. I need something though. Anyone here have a midi keyboard that could record 4 chords in progression at 44.1kHz 16bit? I don't have a keyboard and I can't seem to get a hold of one from my lazy musician friends.
So what I am asking is can anyone do the piano track for me? I will provide the tempo track to play to. |
