Our kitty had to get put down today.
He was a stray that adopted us a few years ago, and we have loved him like crazy.
We finally were able to get him fixed today, and they called and said he tested positive for feline leukemia. We didn't even get to say goodbye. I was dreading that phone call - worried that it would come. And it came. And I'm devastated.
I'll miss you baby boy.

Oh, Megan I'm so sorry!!! What a heart breaking experience! He was beautiful and so lucky to have had you as his mom! Hugs and prayers!

i feel your pain. your cat looked a lot like ours.
we lost her about a month ago. she was eaten by a bobcat. found the remains... we'd had her 13 years.

We had to put our six year old Siberian Husky down about a month ago. Loosing a pet is rough and my thoughts are with you.

Bummer. I feel for you.
