		| | Know how that feels I am stuck at 5.0889. was at 5.2989, at one time it dropped to 4.9 something, I paniked, I am sleepy and everytime I try to sleep I jump up and check my score on this challenge for some reason. Oh well good luck everybody I am going to try to sleep one more time. good night

		| | I am bit surprised of voters sense of humor and perfunctory.
Like I forecasted - avg votes are very low - 3,42 and 8 comments - and no one of comments did not understand what is a meaning of shot. (nothing wrong of avg votes, but comments...)

I can give you a piece of advice - please read a title very searching (do not miss any letter), there can be a clue for your questions.

		| | 4.9 I reckon but would have scored higher if people spent a few seconds to appreciaet my book title and not think "yer he couldnt come up with ought !"
You'll see what I mean when voting is over but I wish the voters would realise what I mean by my shot - its clear as anything really but most overlooking the point... I say this due to alot of my comments state "No one will have heard of the book title!" <-- NO But it is one and is on alot of web sites for sale... Ho hum ...

still in the 5's at the minute so cant complain too much.

		| | I've gone the opposite way. My highest score yet, and looking to stay that way, and I was predicting lower than average.
I really don't seem the have the hang of working out what people like.

		| | I misspelled my title! This was very wrong. I think that at least a 6 are deserved by my picture. Until now I had 200 votes, 4.99 of average and only 8 comments. From these 8, 7 is about my wrong spelling. Every note less than 5 that I vote wins my comments. But many people had give me low scores without any comment. I accept any kind of commet! I predict a little elevation to 5.3 or 5.5 until deadline.
How many of you votes on every picture?

		| | I vote for every picture. However so far I had 163 votes on mine so seeing that you got 200, probably not everybody does, or maybe not everybody who started to vote is done yet.

I saw that in weekends the votes are pumped! Many people can´t vote at your jobs.

		| | I always vote on everything, although I may space it out during the week. I've voted on all for the current challenges, but often have about 50% left to vote on at the start of the weekend.

		| | I vote on all the pictures in the ones I enter and comment on the challenges I don't. Maybe that's backwards! I divide up the voting because, after a while, I find myself not looking at the pictures long enough. |

		| | My score is hovering around 4.7 (pretty close) but with about twice as many comments as usual -- nearly 10% of voters. Thanks, though you don't know who you are yet. |

		| | I was voting on every entry in every challenge and trying to comment on every one. I am still voting on everything but the commenting has gone down a lot. I have been holding to 20% pretty well, but these huge entry fields make it hard. I have gotten more comments of late, though, and that is what I signed up for, next I will hope for a higher "score". Anne

		| | Well... This is my very first post to this site.
Right now with 158 votes, I'm running 5.9847 with 7 comments...

I really really really want to break 6...

		| | Mine is around 6.2, with the heaviest variance between votes ever. I predict an inverted bell curve. |

How do you know about the variance in votes? Do you have access to some additional information apart from number of votes and average vote? I guess you could estimate the variance very roughly if you watched the score continuously...

I'm wondering how to break 7. I was at about 6.9 at one point but now it's falling. Well, I probably got stung by the 'border-haters', and I'm not too disappointed by that (not that I used an elaborate border anyway). In the end the comments are more valuable than anything - though the 'Critique Club' hasn't come up with anything yet - they're probably snowed under.
