I always look for free music online (legally). iTunes has their singles of the week you can download, and other websites, like Urban Outfitters.com and music blog Stereogum, have free mixes.
Does anybody know of anywhere else you can get stuff like this? |

Tons of music! I used to go to www.imeem.com but napsters better imo. |

What are the caveats to using the free services? Spiralfrog's music expires every thirty days I think, unless you visit their website or somehow renew your subscription there. |

I listen to the previously mentioned Pandora. I have found quite a few new artists and songs that I liked enough to go out and buy.
Not too much happening on Musicthing.org, just one free album, and it's not my own taste, but someone else may like it.

The download section of CNET.com has a free music section for legal downloads of tracks posted by the artists. |

I forgot to mention Pandora! I love the website, it's my online radio alternative. |
