Congrats to both Dave and Jack for getting those +6 scores for the team and keeping our average close to what it was last week. Don't give up on us yet Jack...we can improve! I hope that once they finally get this week's challenges posted everyone will find the time to get a shot in and increase our chances of upping our average.

My Cold entry is doing ok at 6.2ish and I hope your score are doing well too. We need some points, don't want to be shut out for the tourney and it would be nice to beat last year's total of 3 pts.

Ok then. First thing I saw in my head when I read the lawn challenge title is a very low angle, in the grass literally, shot of a deep dark green lawn that has just been mowed with beautiful puffy clouds with a deep blue sky. Know of any golf clubs close by? Hope this can joggle your imagination.
Still life.... this is going to be fun.

I am dieing here in the HOT challenge...it started at 6+ and overnight dropped to just below 5. I guess there was no WOW factor there to impress anyone. As for still life, that's what I'm in for!!

Since we're all Canadians in here. Have any of you spotted this thread? If you haven't, take a look and join up. Post some pics and share your knowledge with other photographers from the great white north. Maybe we can make this something uniquely Canuckian. ;\

Geh, my new shot has dropped to 5.4 and still falling. Sucks since I was steady at 5.8 to 5.9 until i hit over 100 votes and then it plummeted =(

That's odd. I've never had that happen to me so far. It fluctuates up and down but it doesn't nosedive like that. Let's hope it goes up by rollover. Mine always do, for some reason that I cannot explain.

My shot for the last challenge dropped steadily in the last couple of hours before rollover. Up to that point it had been holding pretty steady between 5.69 and 5.7. This time I'm fluctuating up and down around 5.35 (which is still above my normal average!)

I'll be in for Still Life. I'm just having a hard time picking out which shot I should enter. I have 3 that I can't decide which one will have more voter appeal. The one that I like best probably doesn't have a lot of voter appeal.... thus my dilemma! Anybody want to give me a second opinion?
