Wow, you are a tough scorer. I gave out 7 10's. Each and every one of them deserved it IMHO. It gives me a really good feeling to give high scores when I feel they are deserved. |
If they look right - job doneI didn't think I was a tough scorer :(
It's just that I can't split the 9s this time. Usually I score all my faves a 9 then go back and up the stand outs of that bunch to a 10. Maybe I should up them all to a 10?! :D
But then I'd have to up the 8s to 9s and so on. My lowest score was a 5, that's not too tough is it? |
No - you're not a tough scorer - I'm sure that last remark was in jest : )
You're method of marking fits in with my principles entirely, sort them into different scores, then look through each level (5's, 6's 7's etc) and check that they all look comparable to each other in terms of quality and appeal.
if they look right - job done
If not - adjust accordingly : ) |

Hmmm - I am having a bit of gentle yoyo'ing with my score at the moment.
I don't mind too much so long as it remembers to come back up each time : )

I am trying to follow this thread and usually there are 3 to 4 people who don't give their high scores... so my calculation, I am not in first 5 but barely making top 10 which will get me a star. Too early to guess, but usually it's pretty steady after a few days over.
I am up 6.8 again; there are at least 3 more 6.8 and a couple 6.9 here... I think I saw 1 or 2 7+s |

I think you're probably right - this is in effect a mini free study and if you look at the top ten scores in the last FS they were running hot.
The first 5 places were all 7+
i think on you current score you are probably flirting with the top ten - but there are clearly some good scores out there
And good photo's to match them. |
