Procrastination, Forgetfulness, Gossip, Ignorance, Lateness, Uncleanliness & Best Intentions (the road to hell is paved with them).
Just figured we've done the Seven Deadly Sins/Heavenly Virtues a few times now. Maybe we needed to spice it up with something new. So I created The Seven Delinquencies of Purgatory.

Nope, never said that or implied that at all. But we're going to well of catholic teaching quite a bit, which can exclude some of Christian and other faiths from taking part. Why aren't we doing the "gods of hinduism" or something?
More general terms, like faith, religion, etc. work best I think because they don't exclude anyone. Purgatory is a catholic, not Christian teaching. So to submit something for such a topic is a recognition of that teaching.
Of course, protesting this is more likely to get the suggestion approved, so I'm hurting the truth more than helping it I fear. :)

I think he's referring to Purgatory in general as a Catholic concept. Protestants skip that part. So much for religious tolerance, though. :-/

Well, Christians just don't make up that stuff -- there is nothing there to skip. Protestants I would guess left it out when they split from RC. |

This is not the place to debate your beliefs on the matter. It's a challenge suggestion, not a rant. Let's keep it that way please.

This is what I get up to in the morning? Though I see what the OP wrote, I also see the path this is taking - another fanatical christer discussion? Kevin, please become a pastor - if you are not already - and convince and convert those who are interested. |

Hawkeye Lonewolf, this is the second thread you've infested with your intolerant blabber that i've seen in 3 minutes here, and they're not religious threads either. Are you on a mission from god?
Now you got me wasting my time blabbering too.... grrr
Oh and to the OP, great suggestion, hope the SC takes notice of it rather than the ...err...blabber. ;\ But I fear that your #1 on the list will play a roll in my missing the deadline for this challenge.

According to the Procrastination challenge, Judi is the queen. At least, she's the highest-scoring woman!
And now for a shameless plug to look at my entry. :)

FOR THE RECORD!!!!
I is NOT Catholic. I pulled these our of my !@#$% arse. Did use Purgatory as it is a Catholic concept somewhere between heaven and hell. But I was being humorous and satirical.
So if these are tied to any organized religion it must be "The Onion". ;-)

I thought catholics didn't believe in purgatory anymore?
or does it exist and you no longer can go there?
