No, this is pretty much typical of side challenges. I think the thumbnails become more and more important.

I don't think it has much to do with quality. When a side-challenge starts with so many people, it can be overwhelming. And there have been dropouts, presumably. I spent the first few days trying to view and comment on every photo and found it was eating up way too much time. I still plan to play catch-up, but it's doubtful I'll be commenting on every photo. |

I don't comment on every shot. If I think of something, or see something that moves me to a remark, then I'll make one. Then again, sometimes I go back and review some I'd looked at prior, and say something then. :~)
