At first I thought it was your processing that gave it that "flat" look, but after reading your comments I'm guessing it's due to the look of the plaster. I can only imagine the look on the owner's face if he/she had caught you wheeling the statue into a better position to photograph. |

Wooden Indians Native Americans is something you see so rarely anymore, and you found one half way around the world. He's loaded with lots of nice detail.

For some reason, I thought this was a toy until I read your notes. At any rate, I really like the color and details in the carving on the Indian. It might be interesting to do some close-ups of him to get some of the textures in the wood. |
