130 for me, which is what I estimated to start with.
And I was too quick on two questions, realized I had them wrong just after I clicked them :(

135, but there was some definite UK-specific stuff on there. I assume "tap" means "faucet"?

| Ok...I wasn't going to admit to it...but atleast its still slightly above "average"... my score was a 103...I tell you the numbers section is what blew it for me, I was doing pretty good up till that part...oh well. :-) |

I pretended to be from London. I was surprised there wasn't an "outside the UK" checkbox. I wonder if where entrants are from is being aggregated anywhere, and if the BBC plans to release findings on where the "smart" people are, geographically.

The test was conducted live on TV/Interactive TV/the net/by txt msg a while back and the results released a few hours later. |

96!! -cries- And English is my first language! And in 5th grade I almost tested as gifted! This test is wrong! Wrong I tell you! I got a 1260 on my SAT's, I refuse to believe this is scientific!

| That's the trouble with IQ tests, they really only measure your ability to do IQ tests, rather than measuring intelligence (which itself is kinda hard to define). |

I got 130, had to lie and say I was from London too.
I did pretty well in all of them, perfect in memory and 1 wrong in each of the others... except perception. Eww. 7/12 on that - I ran out of time on a couple though.
I'm not perceptive enough!

This is a common misconception. Just because the average IQ is 100, doesn't mean that the majority of people should have an IQ of 100... |
