I just wanted to give a shout out to the customer service at Amazon.com. My wife decided to get me an early fathers day gift and bought me a 40D(yeah, too much camera equipment:) She purchased the camera from amazon.com for $1085 on 4-29-08 and Amazon was the seller. Now we come to find that there is an instant rebate and had we waited we could have saved $125, DOH! I sent Amazon and email yesterday to see if there is anything they could do for me. They replied back stating that they do have a 30 day price guarantee on all items bought directly from them and that this falls into that category so they are crediting my credit card the difference, $125, WOOHOO! I always try to buy from Amazon b/c I have heard good things about their customer service and return policy, this just confirms what I have heard. Amazon you rock!

I've always had great customer service from Amazon.com myself -- glad to see someone sharing a positive story! :)

Yup, I had a similar experience with them and they instantly credited my debit card. I am an Amazoniholic! Great prices, no tax, and nice customer service (on the rare occasion that they're needed). I love the Prime membership too. Free time is a rarity for me these days, so shopping online for gifts, camera gear, and other knick-knack items and having them delivered next day for 4 bucks or in 2 days for free is awesome!
