| I've been trying to think what's best to do for mothers day. I thought I would try making crapes because I've never done it before. I have no idea what else to do. What are you guys doing for your mom? |

I just sent my mom a flowering plant for her garden. Unfortunately she lives too far from me for me to do anything in person.

Heh. I'll never forget the day my Mom tried to kick my butt for misbehaving, literally. She was barefoot and I had on jeans. Her toe got caught in my belt loop. She earned a trip to the hospital with a broken toe.

I have a couple of out of town visits for my mom and mother-in-law planned for the weekend...but the real dilemma is what my oldest son plans to do for me. He got in trouble at school today for "public display of affection" with his little girlfriend and now one would think the apocalypse must be near since they're both grounded for the weekend. ;)
Ah, to be 14 and in love again. Something tells me I get nada this year since the girlfriend comes first now.

I saw "Sweeney Todd" for the first time a few days ago, and despite hating graphic violence, I fell in love with the movie.
I made sure everybody knows about my new obsession, pointed out that the movie could be had on DVD, and that there was also a sound track available.
I think they got the hints, woooo hoooo !
Now if only I could motivate them to leave the house and go with me to the zoo or some such place, as well! |
