My 9 month old Nikon EN-EL3e battery is on the fritz. With alternating batteries, it's only been in for around 5000 shots!
I charge it, it says its done, but when I put it in the camera, it shows the lowest bar, and the camera won't do anything.
Unfortunately, today I have an important shoot, and only one battery to use! That normally wouldn't be a problem, but I'm using off camera flash, signalled from the D80. So I don't know what that will do to my battery life of my *only* (sigh) battery left! (Both batteries are the same age).
I hope Nikon stands by it in a warranty. I went with a second Nikon brand battery because I assumed it was the best, safest choice. But my Canon batteries were still going strong after two years, and so were the Lenmar clone batteries. Maybe time to go with a clone? I'm going to order a "third" battery today, since I don't know what Nikon will do for me. :( |
