I shot a local event over the weekend and am just starting to sort out my favorites. So far this one wins hands down! :D
after
before

I used Portraiture, an overlay layer at 30%, the obvious cloning, and some basic sharpening, contrast, saturation;, etc. Comments appreciated.

If you're interested, the rest of the gallery can be viewed here: //www.penrodstudios.com/gallery/4776315_gJgbf#283459614_D6wUP but is still uploading at the moment, about 70% finished. This is my 3rd year shooting this event and by far the most sucessful so far. The challenge is - no flash allowed. :)

I think you overdid the eyes a bit. The image as a whole seems to have a soft focus, but your eyes are completely sharp and plastic-like. It's probably something the client wouldn't notice. They might very well like it, but it just seems unnatural to me.

The hands/gloves seem to have less contrast in the after shot..?

I would reduce the opacity of the processed layer and bring a tiny bit of natural look back into it.
