I see that my hometown newspaper chose this particular shot to print today, too (whatever is on the web site is generally always on the front page of the paper). |

Always good to be able to meet those in the history books.
Mr. Clinton is one of those I wouldn't walk a block to meet. Hard to respect someone in his position that made a mockery of our Judicial system, lied to every person in this country, and now is making a lot of money off his fame.
So he got caught. So what. To lie under oath in his position - unforgivable.

What's your point?
Could say exactly the same things about the current president just as a start.
There are plenty of threads in Rant where you can "discuss" such things.

How is June 4 for you? I have a dentist appointment that day, and I would gladly hand over the duties of being me to someone else :) |

I think he would have preferred if you shook something else for him.
Great shot though man. |

I'm pretty sure Bill doesn't swing that way, but, then again, ya never really know. |

Thought I'd revive this thread with a new development...
President Clinton is speaking at a university just a few miles from home again tomorrow morning. I do some photography work for this college's PR department, and they called yesterday to see if I would shoot his visit. AND... this includes shooting President Clinton posing with the president of the university.
So this means that I'll be solely shooting President Clinton with the university president in a private room prior to his speech! And as a result, there's every possibility that I could actually have somewhat of a conversation with Mr. Clinton, which opens the door wide open for me to make a complete fool of myself by saying something stupid.
I'm already picturing the headlines:

I thought of that, and it would be very cool to have, but unfortunately that would also fall under the category of "not a cool thing to do on a paying gig." So I'll have to scrap that notion. However... he's going to be at yet another nearby town on Saturday, and if I can go in as a non-press person and weasel my way up front... hmmm... :)

Very interesting opportunities and I really like that first photo. I'm not a fan, but then again I haven't been a fan of most holders of that office. I hope we get to see how your university shoot turns out. |

I wonder if you'll be able to borrow a line from jblaylockrayner in his shoot of Jason Alexander. You know, just say this shoot is for "a gay magazine called Honco - Men in Boots" |

Just about to head out the door, now that I've gotten all of the cat hair brushed off my suit. Of all the places for it to decide to sleep last night...

My parents went to High School with Elizabeth Dole....My dad said they hung in different circles, but they all knew each other. I got to see one of the Kennedy's up close on Long Island---doing some type of campaigning. I was just a little girl, and my neighbor said don't get too close to him---someone might take a shot at him! The comment left a lasting impression on me. |
