So this is a photo I quickly worked on

I want to have the same feel as Hotpast's

Not sure it would work out the same or not if I went as far. Any opinions on how to make the photo similar or if not similar, just better? I really like the shot of this particular lion. I can't get as close to the tigers at my zoo, otherwise I'd be working on a tiger picture as they are my favorite of the big cats.

He lists the basic editing steps he used. The difference may come from the obvious differences in natural contrast between the two shots. However, just doing a quick edit with his steps, it does produce an interesting shot. Let's see your effort.

I will try. Hoping for something equally 'cool'

Forgive me, but I don't like it all that much. I love your original, and I love the tiger, but somehow Lioness2 doesn't appeal as much.

I think there is too much blue. I just tried it - removed the blue and felt that it looks a lot better.

I had to give this a try with one of my Tiger pictures. Thanks heavyj for your help with the PP steps!
