I can see DrAchoo going "what do I do? what do I dooooo? what do I do? AAAHHHH" and circling around and around in his room like dog chasing his tail...

Langdon, how could you play with DrAchoo's mind like that? No bugs? No flowers? You are totally messing with his mind LOL

I would think so! Only difference that I can see is the fist was under a open challenge and basic rules.

No worries. The Doc will be fine. I think he's moved on to water drops now... :-D

Using "high-speed sync" on 5D and 420EX
It really takes 1/4000 to freeze water?

He-he. Thanks for the link. I believe you are correct...should be II.

...and after looking at those results, I'm quite certain the Doc will be fine. How many water drops do you see in the Top 10? :-)

PS: Are you turning around and around in your room... like trapped mouse? You should be able to sue Langdon and get some damages back (your brain)... say I don't know 50 years of free membership LOL

How about Macro Without Bugs, Flowers, or Water? Putting this right after the water challenge is sort of cruel in a way.

I am starting a contest for this challenge. Whoever gets the blue will get a DPC hat from me. One condition, I am adding JMart's rule into it. Blue ribbon winner will not have bugs, flowers or water. Meaning any kinds of bug life, or plant life and water (liquid, just to be politically correct)

Win a ribbon with these requirements, I will send you a free DPC hat :)

FRONT
BACK

Ok... good luck everybody ;)

Jmart adn focus, you took the words right out of my mouth.

oh and focus, got the hat today, it is going to go straight into the MG and I will wear it when zooming around~

thanks it looks great, you did a brilliant job on it

JulietNN, Enjoy ;)

I have to add one little more thing for this contest... There won't be hat if you already got hat from me which I count only 5 people so far, so even though slight chance, still had to add the rule... I don't have many hats right now :D

Keep on clicking... closely :P

Good luck with that. :) Would be quite an impressive feat, but one I know you are capable of. Whenever I start thinking that way I wind up pushing too hard and generally show poorly. The best I've done is managed a 4th in Landscape III after 1st in Landscape II.

"Take a macro shot (or at least an extreme close-up) of something that is not a bug or flower. For the purpose of this challenge, "bug" refers to any insect, arachnid, worm, larvae, etc. that would be classified in the arthropoda phylum."

I wonder...does this mean that worms in the Annelida, Platyhelminthes and Nemertea phylums are allowed? Just thought I'd ask;)

I'd vote down Annelids and Nemerteas, but I'd allow Platyhelminthes.
