The bedroom window thing is a 'theme not scheduled for publication' no less, so you can't actually vote on it yet.
I voted on yours and Ernie's + the photo essay. Great stuff. |

I love the unique design. Simple and catchy with the layout of squares. I will say tho that it seems like your main pictures take a bit to load and if someone is passing thru, you want those to catch their attention quickly.
Good luck - you have posted a lot of beautiful stuff there! |

I think I've hit everybody for votes, but Raish, yours didn't have the usual thumbs up/down thing. And Michelle, what lens did you use to catch that bird? The clarity, color, everything - perfect! |

Got your comment and vote - thanks!
I used the 50-200. I use that for about everything now. The last couple of challenges I used my kit lenses and I am NOT happy with how the pictures look compare to when I use this lense. Thanks for looking! |

So sorry about Caspian. What a terrible day you had. I hope your tooth is feeling better. |

Guys, please have a look at this? I'm just trying to help a friend... :( (and still in disbelief that a friend of a friend, a girl in her early twenties just got diagnosed...) |

I may have invented a new archetype for decadence.
I bought a piece of triple-chocolate cake and brought it back to my office. Then I realized I had no fork, knife, or anything else to use in the devouring of said cake.
But wait! I do still have this goody bag from a dentist appt. And it has a toothbrush in it!
Turns out the non-business end of a toothbrush makes a decent cake-shoveling tool.
But even I couldn't use the brush end. That would just be wrong. Plus I'd never be able to suck all the frosting out from between the bristles.

If I was faced with a utensil-less, triple-chocolate cake-eating experience, I would just use my hands.

Well, next was trying to tip it up on edge and just going in face-first. I'm still at work, and didn't want to have to go wash my hands to resume typing.

Hey all, I have to confess something.
After many vows that I would not darken the doorstop of another hospital for many years to come. I visited the ER yesterday afternoon.
The blood drive came to work, I participated (as I have many times) but this time I got very weak and added a headache and an upset tummy too. I fought the feeling for about 3 1/2 hours with lots of down on the floor and all kinds of other antics prescribed by Red Cross. Finally made the trip to the hospital. Luckily today I'm about 90%, they warned that I'd feel lousy for about 3 days.
YIKES.
I think I'll skip the next blood drive, but try it again the time after that.
Oh yeah ... there were about 5-6 of us that got sick...we all had the same person remove our needle, think there is a coincidence?
Edit to add: Jeffrey, you must have had a REAL craving for that cake!
