We were out enjoying a warmer afternoon and of course I was taking pictures. I ended up shooting this:
I was going to enter it in the Led Zeppelin challenge (there was an appropriate lyric) but Photoshop crashed as I was saving for web minutes before rollover. No time to recover so I called it "Wasted Time" because I wasted my time editing. Or so I thought. I ended up putting it in the B&W side challenge.
So then I see a photo contest at the local state park where I took the picture. I figured I have nothing to lose so I enter it. Results can be found here. |

Congratulations, Ken. Yours is my favorite. The three shots chosen by the staff were all better than those chosen by the public. There must have been a lot of people voting for their friends.

We bought one to get into the park to take pictures, but at least now we can leave one in each car. |

See? Nothing done with DPC in mind is a waste ;)

I agree. One of the shots, Sentinel is nice but its is slanted. I wonder if the photographer's family was originally from Pisa. :)
