I'm down o a 3.9! DAMN the DNMC!!! I'd rather it be because the photo sucks! I havent had a score this low since I started 3 yrs ago.

meh i'm at a 6.3, dropped from a 6.8. You should see the fully edited version though, it made the cover of a magazine!

It's still going down but very slowly. Long way to go... still hoping this might start to go back up some. I have received some really nice comments. I have a feeling this one will have a wide voting curve with scores from 1 thru 10. Hopefully more will be in the above 5 range.

I don't know where my score is as they are not on but I'm a bit frustrated in that based on comments, I'm being shot down by new photographers who have no concept of alternate styles of photography such as high key, low key etc. I can't say more. If the image does not "fit" where all is "normal" then I can only assume based on comments that they are voting me down. I am happy that some are more well rounded though.
BTW, I'm basing my assumptions based on the profiles of the commenter's
In any event, it's a shot that both I and the subjects like very much. |

LOVING the comments. most are "this is not environmental" :P although, i think it's clearly environmental if you took long enough to stop and think about it. i guess i might have a completely different definition of what an environmental portrait is. oh well, i'm not complaining, i'm always happy w/ a 6+ score. they're hard to come by these days :P

No. Actually, I had the wrong environment in mind in that previous post. The score that I posted earlier was my Harsh Environment entry so I'm not even close to you in this challenge. My simple mind is having a tough time keeping the two challenge titles with the word 'environment' in them straight. |

Hah! Must admit that was pretty funny.
Quiet thread overall though. I know mine cant be near the top rung as the ones I thought nailed the challenge really nailed it. But I am creeping back up a bit.

Yeah, I saw a couple of claims of 7+ scores earlier in the thread. I didn't expect mine to do extremely well anyway. It's a different kind of environmental portrait and is probably scoring a little lower (although nobody has said that's a reason yet). In a different challenge it would surely score higher but I'm not disappointed since I expected it.
