I have been feeling increasingly independent and open with my photography lately, and I no longer shoot specifically for challenges, but only for my own enjoyment. The work that I have been posting lately have gotten pretty mediocre scores, but that doesn't concern me as much as the incredible lack of feedback I have been getting. Granted, I haven't been leaving comments lately so maybe I have it coming, I dunno.
Anyways, I would like to get some of my new stuff out there and see if anyone has any feedback on it.
I have started a series of painted people that seems to be pretty unpopular since "silenced"
Here are some new portraits I love as well:

What do you have to say about your pictures ? What are you trying to achieve, what do you feel is lacking, what do you want to improve ?
Are you enjoying them, given you are shooting for your own enjoyment ? Is that enough ? |

Lovely work. Being unpopular is a good thing. Keeps you focused on your personal goals and needs without getting tangled in the writhing of the world. |

My own goals have to do with embracing my own personal style and being better able to articulate what I am trying to say. I have been experimenting with contrast of content, playing up portraiture that shows people in situations that are unusual etc. It is hard to put into words but it is really fun |
