I did one of my dog last Christmas... still can't get the cat to cooperate :P

Maybe we could run a pet portrait challenge concurrently to a people portrait challenge then people could enter and vote where their interest(s) lie.

My dog is a challenge I can't get a good photo of him cause of his coloring...the kittens on the other hand are very co operative as long as I don't mind filling a card to get the right photo.

As for Max I wanna copy of that cute Christmas photo. It's so darling. Also gave me an idea for my boarder collie jack russell mix.

A little truth in humor here....


Oh boy, portraits! I can see the discussion now:
"My baby is so cute. Why is everyone giving me 3s and 4s..."

No offense, but we'd have 300+ entries on this one, and that means 200 snapshots to critique!! :)

It'd still be fun to see everyones' friend, spouse, baby, dog, cat, bird, fish, camera, pencil, ... Remember the variety that "Landscape" gave us. Well, "Portrait" will result in the same. Some call it variety. Others call it abuse.

I look forward to the discussion threads on this one!! :) :)

I wanna do both! I got darling kittens and a stunning longhaired calico to work with for pets as well as a handsome dog if I can figure out who to make his markings standout.

I also have some a couple of close friends wanting portraits done for the holidays so I am sure I could handle both. =o)
