Just cloned out some distracting lines plus dodge and burn
Makeup
(Mouse over image to see original)
Do you think this would be a DQed Entry under Advanced Editing?

ROFL Jorge... unfortunately, I think that may have slightly altered my view of the image.
Ofcourse, I may now ask her for a date ;O) |

Hard to know without seeing the original. Edit looks great, though.

Well if it's not it should be. It's no different than what MUAs can do these days. I don't know where I saw it but I remember seeing a clip awhile back of Oprah Winfrey getting ready for a show. The before and afters of her were amazing. It was pretty much night and day.

I really would like to ear your opinions about DQing or Not. If you pay close attention it was only some thin lines out plus dodge and burn. It really creates a completely different image than the original but theres not many changes after all. I think the final result is close to a landscape where you cloned out the electric lines and added some dodge and bur to pop up the elements ;) |

Personally, I think I'd have to lean towards DQ on an edit like that, as it significantly changes the viewer's description of the image.

However, this is merely the opinion of one individual, and not the SC as a whole :o)

I don't know, I really like the shot, but I would imagine it would get dq'ed, just for the immense amount of photoshop that was done, even if it was all "technically" legal, I would vote higher for the edited, as it is almost a completely different picture.

In any case, it's a great illustration of the effect of how a few beers affect vision, "The Night" and "Morning After" shots.
