Have to give Luna a talking to - she's taking over Druli's spot on my bed (they have a scuffle and he ends up leaving rather than continue to wrestle for it) and she's jumping up on shelves and, so far, has not knocked down anything fragile - but I must cure her of these habits!

Wow, I better get my eyes checked, it still really looks like Zilla to me! LOL
Yes, you should make sure Octopussy does not become the submissive one in the relationship with Luna. ;)

Speaking of Luna, are you going to let her watch the lunar eclipse on wed night?

Susan, you may find Exposure under image>adjustment>exposure. CS3 is the first version to have exposure as an adjustment layer, but earlier versions (don't know how far back) it was under Image, and I think it's just below Shadows/Highlights.

Ahem.... from the Bread challenge scores thread, I found this:

Ain't that cool? :-)

hehe... it is cool... but I am trying to maintain composure and not get overly excited about anything till it's over. :D Even tho I have been watching my score like a fiend... good thing I have to go to work...

I'm barely clinging to a 5.2 for my Bread entry, but it's a shot I really like. A couple TS types have found it, and commenters in general seem to approve. I don't have anything for this week's challenges though; hopefully the new Open ones will inspire me again.
02/19/2008 05:34:52 PM · #1883
I'm clinging to about a 5.8, I think - it's wonderful company.

I sort of apologise if anyone's received rough comments from me, as I've been slagging everyone off in the bread challenge.

I am in for Leading Lines, not sure if its OOBIE or totally shoehorned. Either way I do not expect much. Its been almost a month since I entered anything and I am going through update withdrawal. I am also proud of myself that I did not enter just to be entering (well, until now anyway).

It does look dinosaur-ish, don't it?

Yeah...can't have Octopussy being p****y-whipped now, can we? *roflmao*

And if Luny-Toons is sleeping on my bed tonight, well then she probably will be seeing part of the lunar eclipse, as there is a skylight directly over my bed...hmmm...maybe I should shut her in a dark room for the night just to be safe...

Hi Julianne...double/triple checked and also asked Mac guru scalvert...sad to say does not appear in CS...but maybe, just maybe it's in PS Elements? Loading it up on the ol' G3 (go ahead, laugh you fools laugh) even as I write...turning the hand crank as fast as I can...

*Jeopardy theme song doo-do-do-doo-do-dododo*

...nope not there either. Dang. But again, thanks very much for your help!

Now I feel left out! All of my comments have been nice ones.

Well, my missunderstood shot has topped out at about 5.8. Not to bad for something that is pretty oob.

Hungry for panned bread? Scores are up in the results thread, and colorcarnival got the bragging rights for Bread, and the week, with her BLUE RIBBON! Congrats also to wildcard for our top Panning score!

I've come to the conclusion that you simply can't teach an old dog new tricks. And no, it's not the Pet Portrait challenge. I seem to be horribly regressing. At what point (and I'm quite serious) does one accept that an endeavor is somewhat pointless? Probably before spending any more money on it at least, right? :-)
02/20/2008 05:53:13 AM · #1894
Well - I think I've hit a new low.

My "Peace" entry - whopping score of - are you ready for this ? - 2.3529

What ARE you going on about my dear lady? You can SO teach an old dog new tricks. I am evidence of that.

Any comments as to why, Lea? My one comment likes my 4.1 Leading Lines entry. He/she must have been my one five so far.

Congrats Michelle! Great shot!

Deb, That is my kitchen in my bread shot but it's a piece of fabric that I laid on my counter. I was trying to make it look kind of retro.

Yep - too dark. But, I figured it would be, so no surprises there.
