Hi,
i have been following this thread up for long. I can see that my country (India) has only one player so far :(
Cujee, please add my name as a player, but i am really not sure how much time i can give to shoot. I will try and participate in as many challenges as possible.
In case more Indians show interest, please mark me as a reserved member.
If the incomplete teams work up an alliance, then aslo, mark me as a reserved member

Cheers

The South Africa jerseys have been posted in the other thread. Maybe this will entice more to sign up. :)

Is the plan still to have 3 points allocated for 1st, 2 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd... because the one problem I see with this system is it effectively means that 2 silvers (4 pts) is better than 1 gold (3 pts), but 2 bronzes are only EQUAL to 1 silver. I don't have a problem with saying 2 second places is better than a first and a last, however, the same should be true of 2 bronzes vs a silver.

If you want to do the points thing a 4pts, 2pts and 1pt system

OR

You could adopt a Formula 1 type system i.e.
* 1st: 10
* 2nd: 8
* 3rd: 6
* 4th: 5
* 5th: 4
* 6th: 3
* 7th: 2
* 8th: 1

Just some more food for thought... :)

Don't discuss further, because we have already won.

Two daft questions (I'm far too lazy to read all 26 pages in case you've answered already ;-) )

-Has the UK Team got a captain yet? Any volunteers guys? I came along first and did some pm-ing to get others involved so I'm quite happy to be a captain but won't be offended if someone else would rather be captain.

-When are we starting from? Are the four challenges open for submissions likely to count?

In order for you to win 2 silvers you have to enter 2 challenges. IF you enter 2 challenges and you win 1st place twice you will have 6 points. Therefore 1st place is still better. :)

I vote for SoulMan1978 as our Captain.
I assumed we would be starting with next weeks Open challenges. Could be wrong of course.

... or Sunday's member challenge. Is the highest score from all challenges entered going to used for the team score?

Original post stated: Since both members and non-members may join this tournament, the challenges will be Exclusive Open Challenges

Why are the averages placed under Week 1 on the spread sheet? Is that only temporary until we start Feb 20th?

Yeah well, all mouth mate, we shall have to see what happens
