 I would leave the sign/box right where it is. If it was there...there is where it belongs. Keep it real.

		| | The sign is the house number.Now that it has been mentioned it is a little distracting. I may leave the item in but try to darken it slightly. It was taken in fairly strong sunlight and for a change I was able to use the 40d's spot meter to get a reading from his face.

		| | Those are two different photos.  I know this wasn't a choice, but I would prefer the second photo in B&W.  I like the B&W treatment for this portrait, but I prefer the inclusion of the hand and cig. in the composition. |

		| | Oh yeah, I agree with Zal. Definitely b/w. And especially the way he's 'peeking' around the edge, it looks almost as if he's been 'caught' smoking. Cool shot. And yes, darkening the sign may be nice. |
