that was me that said "lateral motion" and Gordon is right that that's not the only option for panning motion - I stand corrected. :)

And we're always most irritated by the ones we love too. :)

Women

Women are not to be confused with motion blur.
Women are soft and spin with fire, dipping into pools.
Women are perfectly valid uses of panning.
Women are not always subject, not always separate from the background.
The basic idea behind women is that they are first and foremost.

Women are not cupcakes.

No, but we do like a good cupcake now and then. Especially with cream cheese frosting.

They were very popular. Particularly because of the cream cheese frosting.

So in the mail today I got my Square perfect Platinum Photo Studio. More toys to play with. Hopefully I will be able to do more inside and have my photos look better. Wish me luck.

It is two lights, a tripod (which I have already but I guess I can always use another) two white cubes one big and one small and background colors. It is for small things and then the lights can be used for for other things outside the cubes. I'm hoping it will help with some of the challenges here.

There is a feeling
here of light and shadow
of bright and dark
of words spoken
repeated
different, not the same
of wandering
of definitions
and of being defined
words as images

*sigh*

Single yet again. Same old story. Latest bf said he wants a profound relationship, and only 5 weeks in?! Am I crazy or is that not rushing it? I thought the clingy needy role in a relationship was supposed to be the girl's role :-) In this case it ain't.

And on Valentine's Day no less.

Well said, Bruce. Pretty much sums up the Team Suck thread. Something I want to save.

Sorry to hear that Susan. He is surely a fool to lose the affection of a woman with your qualities. :)

oh, and you can take solace in this.

From that same site you can send him an anti-valentine card!

Challenge Details: Brown Ribbon Deja Vu
Challenge Details: Find a brown ribbon winner, and try to turn that entry into a [sic] entry that is excellent.

This does not include disqualified photo's [sic], or your own Brown ribbons.

Here

--------

So, does this mean that if I think a particular brown winner was already excellent that I should just try to faithfully reproduce it?

Just when I start to think this place is coming around a little (posting Don's tutorials, for example) it seems to take a giant step backwards.

Bruce

LOL Ernie thanks, you're so sweet! And that is so true! Druli has been making sure he and Luna and are taking care of me as I also have had a head cold last couple of days and spending as much time in bed as I can.

Don't know if I actually would send an anti-Valentine but doesn't hurt to bookmark the site...:-)

Though I seem to be a different kind of weird than the poets in here, I have to say I am in 100% agreement with this.

What on earth made them decide to go down this path?

Yes, thank God, you are crazy........that's part of what makes you cool.

God save us from sane, dull, normal people.

Nope! That whole SNAG thing sort of backfired making a whole generatiopn of insecure wusses who mistoook the sensitive part of the description to mean lily-livered panty-waisted wussbags with no spine and no defined personality.....and there are varying degrees of that syndrome.

So there is every reason to believe that you were going to end up to be his definition of existence instead of the perfect complement to a lovely existence that you'd like to see.

Take heart, there will be someone somewhere who will be a decent partner.......they show up in the most peculiar ways and places.

Lisa and I met in a car dealership!
