I think he thought he was being funny. Very book smart, but low on the people skills.

Yeah, that.....MEs build weapons, CEs build targets.
I like Peter's version that states that civil ones give your spanner back.
Although, having been around engineers in discussions where they disagree with you, the term "Civil Engineer" sometimes comes across as an oxymoron.
In my experience, they seem to think that their way is the only way. |

So flippin tired...I'm such a light sleeper, I can hear a mouse fart down in the crawlspace...I bought a white noise machine to help me go to sleep...kept waking up to make sure it was still working! it's only on a 60-min cycle. So maybe I should tape the ON button down or something.
Going for a catnap now...zzz... |

When I was growing up I used to live across the street from a fire station. Now I can sleep through most anything. |

Lucky you! I have lived in big cities (Vancouver) and been able to sleep through city noise, ie sirens, car alarms etc...stuff we rarely ever have out here. Noise pollution is usually a dog barking or the local teens spinning donuts in a nearby parking lot on Saturday nights. As my own place has walls about 16 in thick, it's very very quiet here... |

Have you considered feeding them warfarin instead of burritos?
Oh, by the way, here is some real online photography fun (espcially for the guys...). You can take your own photos of a swimsuit model via the taco bell website. (well not really your own...but it is a cool game)
Check it out!

I was uninspired by the open challenges this week, but I have an entry in Misunderstanding. I am expecting the Brown Ribbon, but I might be misunderstanding the voters. More than likely, they are misunderstanding me. |

Ya know......Jelena's just cool, and I would hope it's more about that as the fact that she's gorgeous.
Gawd, don't be such a sexist pig!.....8>>)

Appreciating beauty does not make you a sexist pig. :)
