You're 50/50?! Now I know the test is lying :p

Yeah things get mighty interesting around here esp with the boys...must be spring in the air somewhere!

Speaking of interesting.....there's a whole 'nother thread going on about which side of the brain governs your behaviors.

I was surprised to find myself 70/30 right-brained.

Brain Quiz

So I'm questioning whether it's a "boys" thing or something more along the lines of aberrant brainwaves......8>)

You Are 30% Left Brained, 70% Right Brained

Nah, the civil ones give you your spanner back.

You Are 45% Left Brained, 55% Right Brained

and I have natural red highlights...unless the Sens make it to the Playoffs...

Right handed now but was more left-inclined as a kid, parents discouraged me from using left. Don't remember any rulers being used, lol.

Yay Susan, just like my result. Of course I do not have red highlights, I have grey highlights, but they are entirely natural.

I can relate to the natural gray highlights, but I'm afraid mine are taking over! Maybe I should go red.... :-)

Language skills are associated with the left brain, whereas visual skills are associated with the right brain. I am split down the middle!
02/12/2008 04:02:46 PM · #1659
So does my 50/50 split explain why I like to plan where I'm going but I MUST see it on a map visually before I leave or I'm totally lost and it drives me nuts?

Or is it simply more of the anal retentive engineer thing... My desk is always a mess, but I know where everything is on it and I like to keep it that way. I'm thinking I should dye my hair red and see if that breaks the tie one way or the other....

And I'm in for Bread with a shot I love that will score not so good. My not-used panning shot is lurking somewhere in my portfolio.

So your verbal and visual skills are impaired, one side doesn't know what the other side wants!! I always suspected this was the case, cos you never see my challenge entries or leave comments! :) This means you must be a Librain, can't make a decision:)

Well that explains some things. I have poor language skills for sure. Results: 25% left and 75% right.

I'm in bread with a serious brown contender, lol!

You Are 20% Left Brained, 80% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

I'm scared to take the test in case my score doesn't add up to 100%

Well I'm a Sagittarius, half-human and half-horse...draw your own conclusions, LOL!

Scores and ads competing for eyeballs are up in the results thread! Congrats to wildcard and bdenny for the top scores in their challenges, and to Bear_Music for the weekly bragging rights.

I've got a shot in Panning that's being rather unfairly DNMC'd to death (it's at 4.3 because noone thinks the effect was created through panning, and it was...). Ah well, I really should've known...
02/13/2008 08:43:13 AM · #1671
3 DNMC comments and counting... Weeell, at least it's unambiguous what they don't like about it.

I'll come back and grumble about this once the image is out of the voting - I was using panning, dammit...

I think there are a few voters who are getting confused between panning and motion blur?

Still, my score is sitting so low I can see the bottom of the pan!!

I predicted a brown in bread. Looks like it should come true, lol...

Ooh, I look forward to seeing which one is yours then! Meanwhile, my Bread is actually up to 5.3, and got a couple of comments!

Hmmm just saw this. So what's the punchline? I have a BSME and an MSME and the difference between a CE and a ME is that the CE's really know how to party.

When I was in school, not many women were in the EE program. That's cool that she's got that degree. What a smartie!

I once dated a EE in college. He asked me if I was in school to get my MRS degree. Lovely fellow. We did not date very long.
