Im still seriously considering this lens, looks very sharp for the wide range it covers, its either that or the Canon 100-400 but heard theres concerns about dust with the push/pull zoom...

Somehow Judi I didn't expect you to be a long lens gal - thats pretty impressive :)
My claim to fame is 2 SP's in the top 5 for the 50mm/F1.8 MKI

Wow...I have a top 16 with this lens:
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro for Nikon
I can't exactly say that I "own" this lens though. Ursula, mrmorris, and Alain would share that honor.
Thank _eug...I can't understand why me link isn't showing up right Edit: Apparently the space at the beginning would do that...
Edit to add: Interesting that 2 of the top 15 for this lens are dandelion heads...

Hehe, yeah, more people should look into that 24mm 1.4, great lens but of course expensive. The "lens statistic" I am most "proud" of is the fact that I have ribboned with all of my lenses, except the 135 2.0 and also a couple of lenses I have since sold, the 28mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8 from Canon.
Can anybody beat that, ribbons with 9 different lenses? :P |

LOL, I have no one to blame but myself... I've owned the 24/1.4 since September '05, and have *never* submitted with it... what's worse, I might have been a small influence on Larus buying his copy. |
