I don't know too many Christians that don't have issues in their lives just as I don't know too many people that don't have issues... |
True. And I don't mean to start a religious debate. Your tolerance of my remarks are much more in line with what I've been taught about Christianity.
My reaction was, and still is that there is a huge disconnect between her proclaimed value system and her actual behavior. It's sad because she's obviously not well. Either that or she is just plain sinister. |

I suspect she has very low self-esteem, and online she can both get the affirmation she needs, and "be" the person she wishes she were.
I knew someone who created an entire online persona, complete with fake photos. She lived this persona for 3 years, involving a friend of mine in a relationship. Every time they were to meet, some "crisis" would prevent it. Finally it all came out, and NOT with a happy ending. |

No problem Rox. The state of human nature really is sad. The problem is, I'm guilty in my own ways and they are no better than our friend Faye. |

That is terrible to play with someones emotions.. I feel sorry for the victim.. skanking a few low res pics is bad enough but taking someone for an emotional ride is too much.. I hope your friend is OK. |

That sounds like Jay. If you really want to get his goat, use my name. ;D
Pickles is ok though. Good to hear they took it down.

Well, you had better straighten up!;) You're on of my role models; and I have very high expectations for those. |

Sent to Mr. Pickles on PhotoCamel:
Thanks for your help. A friend pointed out that the image is still visible here:
//www.photocamel.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2581&ppuser=13528
Another friend's photo was also stolen by this individual. She left a comment about it on the photo with links to the originals. I don't know if she's contacted any admin about it yet.
//www.photocamel.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2572
Again, thanks for your help. It's been difficult to get another site to take it seriously, and now this thief has faked her death (and very badly), so it just gets more and more difficult to get things taken care of.
A guy going by MikeJ on DPC says he was once a moderator over your way, and says hello.

Rebecca, it's now gone from Faye's profile, but still shows in
"Contests » CLOSED - PhotoCamel Themed Contest - Selective Focus".
That's where it took me on a basic search. |

I was thinking something along these lines, Mental Illness or Substance Abuse. She leaves strange spelling errors and TypOs that look like she's in a big hurry or is somehow impaired. [/quote]
I just dropped by to see how things have been going here with the other sites you found. Faye's "Mozingo1" site on Webshots hasn't been taken down. I haven't been able to get any response to the suggestion they block that IP address. I saw a comment that Heavenbound12's albums have been deleted. I haven't had time to verify it.
I picked this comment to reply through because Faye's profile on Webshots said she was a substance abuse counselor! I thought that rather ironic.

Bonnie, no kidding! Yup, heavenbound's albums are gone, someone asked what happened to them and I said that maybe webshots got tired of removing stolen shots? She hasn't responded to any comments in the past couple days, that I can tell.
Btw, all, this notice is on the bottom of the upload page;

I've been watching to see if I can find her resurfacing under yet another nick, searching for new members who can't spell macro or who promptly friend the same people, but nothing yet. |

Well, we probably need to wait awhile, I know the 2 a week group are still reeling, that makes 2 of their members in a short period of time caught posting copyright material. They made it clear on their Yahoo site that anyone caught posting copyrighted material would be banned from the group & reported to WS's. The one gal talked her way out of it and apologized, so her site hasn't been taken down. She removed all the things from other people though. Catch you later

I know this is an old thread, but I think it's time to resurrect Faye's memory! It seems her husband has taken over her profile (Mozingo1 on Webshots) since her death a few months back... he's been busy posting wonderful shots (highlighted in this thread) like THESE which bear a remarkable resemblance to some of these! Here we go again!

Yes, Faye tried creating a new persona, heavenbound12, but when she got caught (after her apparent "death") posting the same stolen shots she'd posted as Faye (and blamed a probably nonexistant daughter for), she abandoned that one.
Instead she became her husband, supposedly posting her shots in her memory. Now "he" doesn't pretend they're hers, but they're exactly the same style as she was stealing creating, and I even found that the shot "he" claimed was the flower arrangement on Faye's casket was stolen. What kind of nerve is THAT???
Any picture commented on as stolen is deleted but so is the comment, and quickly. At least she's learned to change the names, so it's a little harder to track them now.

Can't you get the site owner to ban her IP addy? Or at least threaten to report the site to the authorities.

Why keep a thief on the ship unless they benefit from their demise? So they only remove the images as they are found out....but still earn from the others!

I THINK it was all given to them a while back, but I'm not positive. Maybe I should write them a nice long one, giving them allllll the details again. |

This truly inspires people.
You (darn the absence of a plural 'you' in English)don't know each other, but you're as close knit and supportive of one another as siblings.
Go DPChallenge.
Has anyone tried filing a lawsuit, or sending a warning letter, since you have already tracked her down?

Those macro shots of Martin Amm's are beautiful, so I signed up @ Photo.net & let him know of the infringement(s).
You guys are vicious! :D (thank goodness)
