Not to step on John's toes here (I'm sure he's sold his camera by now)...

- F717 plus all items contained in the original kit.
- Leather Sony LCS-FX case.
- 2nd battery.
- 256mb Memory Stick Pro.

I have decided that it's too close in size and function to my 10D to keep. I bought it this spring, and it and the case are in near-new condition. No scratches or marks of any sort. I still see a need for a second camera, though I would perhaps rather have a Canon S400 or a Pentax Optio S. I have decided to sell my F717, but only if the price is right. I wouldn't have a huge problem keeping it either. It's currently listed at eBay.ca but I went fishing and placed a rather high reserve on it so it may not sell.

I am not selling any parts of the kit separately.

Make me an offer and I just may accept...jamesdavison@yahoo.com

I haven't sold my 707 yet but I do plan to put it on ebay as well. I have no idea when my 10d will arrive. It's backordered. Everything else I ordered should be here by monday or tuesday at the latest.

Good luck on selling yours :)

Sheesh...and I thought it was apparent around here that it was the camera and not the photographer that mattered. You've got yourself a one-in-a-million F707 there. I figured someone would buy it for posterity reasons alone.

It looks grim...most people thinking of a new F-series are waiting out the F828 or are scraping pennies for the 300D. If it doesn't sell (maybe another good try on eBay before Christmas) I can always use it when I'm not comfortable taking the 10D...backpacking and amateur porn and the like. Lord knows it's an amazing, extremely versatile machine.

Cheers.

Hey Jim could you link me to it on ebay? Also, what's your high reserve?

I'm the Jim....and my reserve for the shootin' match is $1100 CDN, or just under $800 US for the kit. High, but cheaper than buying it new for sure.

F717 on eBay...
