It's very in depth and nicely done, however limited at this point in time. I'm sure they'll be adding reviews like crazy in the next few weeks.

I love the lens sharpness app...can't wait until they get some decent glass in there...

Whoa, the Test Results graphic is seriously impressive! Looks like a really excellent resource for us.

Way cool. :-)

And for anyone that still thinks that shooting f/16 and higher gets sharper pictures ... take a look at the sharpness graph as you go from f/8 to f/11. It begins to dip there. And then totally sinks as you move out to f/22 or f/32. (I was looking at the Canon 17-85mm lens)

I mean anything better than the crap they've got in there right now - I'm staying firmly out of the Canon versus Nikon debate. I'm Canon because my first SLR was a Canon 500N, so my first lenses were Canon, which got upgraded and now I'm fully invested. I think this is why there's so much competition at the entry level...

One thing was really obvious from spending a bit of time on the lens app - those EF-S lenses in particular are only halfway decent within a very narrow band (I want blue minimum in the centre). Plus the other Pentax lens was really crap compared to the Canon lenses. But as a proof of concept it rocks...want more to play with now...

I thought everyone knew that shooting at around f5.6/f8 gets you the sharpest pictures and it falls off as you go towards either extreme.
What you do get is a whole lot more of the scene in equally less sharp focus as you head up to f22 though. Its a tradeoff for sure.
