I'm doing the post processing for a shoot I did last week of San Diego Hospice's therapy dogs (a totally fun shoot, I'll post the results soon). One of the dogs, a doberman, has terrible dandruff, and it shows up in every shot of him. Since the results of the shoot are likely to be both printed large and projected onto very large screens in front of a lot of people, I'd like to solve the guy's skin problem in Photoshop. Any suggestions?

I feel kinda bad, because the owner had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to clean him up before the shoot, but as soon as he showed up, I scratched his neck, and you can see the results. |

Talk to your vet - they make dog shampoos for dry skin and dandruff. |

clone tool- shouldnt be that difficult a job, just a bit time consuming seeing there are lots of spots. |

Not my dog. This is somebody else's dog from a shoot last week. |

I've definitely thought of that...did I mention he's huge, and it's down his entire back?

I'm glad it worked for you. Any chance we can see the result? |

Before and after...I just used dust and scratches with radius 2 and threshold 10.

Seems to have worked quite well. The only thing I see is that the collar isn't as sharp in the after shot. |

Oops, you're right. I didn't mask the collar when I did it...off to fix that.... |
