Still somewhat new around here, I didn't realize I couldn't participate in two exclusive open challenges concurrently. So I abandoned my abandoned building. I'd still be curious to know how this might have fared. I was going for a cold and desolate look, so I desaturated it quite a bit. I had trouble with the sharpening trying to perserve some of the more intricate detail in the woodwork. I'm thinking perspective correction may have helped too, but I kind of like the tall, looming feeling it has.
Thoughts? Comments?

Welcome to DPC! At the end of the challenge voting period, there will be an outtake thread and you can post your image then. In the meantime, we have to lock this one because outtake discussions must wait until voting is over.
