My Nikon Coolpix 5700 just arrived less than an hour ago, now I am anxiously waiting for the battery to charge, this is soooo exciting!
Just had to share my joy with everyone!!!!
Any pointers anyone might have?

would you spend $1000 on a canon digital rebel -w a 18-55mm lens?
and do you know whats downgraded from the canon 10D?
hmm - trying to convince myself to...
missing the features on my old canon AL1
and starting to see it ( rebel ) advertised all over
problem is the $1000 ;}

You might be interested in this EBook Nikon Ebook. I have the Sony version for my 707 and there's lots of good information on the cameras with tips, tricks and the like.

Search the forum on 300D and you will find all the info you need.
From what I recall it was a majority feeling that the 300D was worth the price.
But the caseing requires a little more delicate handling.

WOW, That is great Shannon
I got my new camera Yesterday....SONY F717 and I love it!
I was vary anxiously waiting for the battery to charge too...longest 3 hours of my life....hehehe |
